GoDaddy Website Hosting Review
I know that this is a little off subject, but I get a lot of questions from people asking about how to start their own website/blog/whatever, and so I thought I’d pass along some helpful information. Basically, you need to start by registering a domain name and a hosting account for your site.
I recommend using GoDaddy. You’ve probably already heard of GoDaddy, and even seen their commercials, well they have what I think is the best hosting solution in the business. I’ve personally worked with them a lot – in fact, this website you’re looking at right now is hosted with GoDaddy – and I’ve had nothing but good experiences so far.
Through them, you can host your site, register your domain name, and get help with your site’s design. And they can integrate extras like a blog, databases, a merchant account, file transfer (for uploading to your server), ssl certificates, an so on. Basically, everything you’ll need. In fact, it’s probably more than you’ll end up needing.
Plus you get professional email accounts with your site. By that, I mean it looks like it comes from your business, not your personal email address. For example: you@yoursite.com
But the best part is that they have excellent 24/7 phone support. So if you have a question at any time, call them. They’ll actually answer it for you. Imagine that. They don’t even try to hide the number like everyone else. It’s right there at the top of every page. It’s almost as if they want you to call.
Customer service is a big thing for me, so that’s another reason why I give them such high marks.
Anyway, if you’re interested in starting your own website, or moving the website you have to a better host, then click on the fancy schmancy GoDaddy banner at the top and have a look see. Or you can click right here, same thing.
